HoneyBook does not seem to position itself as HIPAA compliant. It is apparently not built around healthcare-specific compliance frameworks and doesn’t seem to currently focus on HIPAA requirements.
HoneyBook is an all-in-one client relationship and business operations platform designed for creative entrepreneurs, freelancers, and service-based small businesses. It provides features such as proposals, contracts, scheduling, invoicing, payment processing, and workflow automations.
According to HoneyBook’s official HIPAA compliance statement, the platform is not designed to meet HIPAA requirements. The service does not seem to be marketed toward healthcare organizations. While HoneyBook has indicated the possibility of revisiting this if its market focus changes, there is no current plan in place.
