Northumberland Scouts is dedicated to recognising the brilliant achievements of our young people with these fantastic events where young people from across Northumberland County are presented with badges & certificates celebrating their achievements in Scouting.
Participants receiving multiple Awards on the day only need to complete this form once even if they have received multiple invitations.

How many guests will be attending with the participant?
In order to ensure that all participants have the opportunity to bring along a guest, we must limit the event to 2 guests per person.
Does this participant, or any of the guests that will be joining them have any special considerations or additional needs that we should be aware of on the day? Please be specific to allow us to make the appropriate accommodations.
- What time should I arrive at the venue?
  Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your presentation timeslot so we have time to welcome everyone and get you seated. Your exact arrival time will be shown when you choose your timeslot and in your booking confirmation email.
  Which uniform should Award recipients wear?
  Participants receiving an award should attend wearing the uniform of their current section. For example, if they are now in Cubs, they should wear their Cub uniform, even if the Award was earned when they were in Beavers. This event is all about celebrating their achievement, not their Section's.
  Can I bring an additional guest?
  To ensure that every participant has a chance to bring guests, we do have to limit the number to 2 per participant. Closer to the event date we will have a better idea of how many guests to expect and where there are free spaces available, and so might be able to accomodate additional guests per participant. Email [email protected] to enquire about additional guests and we will get back to you.
  Can I bring a child to sit on my knee?
  Yes, young children are welcome to sit on a guests knee.
  I didn’t receive my booking confirmation email, what do I do?
  Please check your spam or junk folder first. If it’s not there, email us at [email protected] with your booking ID and we’ll be happy to help. Please don’t submit another booking unless we ask you to, to avoid confusion.
  I need to change my booking time, can I do that?
  Yes, you can edit your booking using the link at the bottom of your confirmation email. If you can’t find the email, see the question above. Please don’t submit another booking unless we ask you to.
  I’m receiving my Duke of Edinburgh's Award or Young Leader Award, do I need to bring anything?
  If you’ve already received your certificate, you’re welcome to bring it along for the presentation, but everyone attending will be presented with a certificate on the day to hold on stage, so you’ll still have something even if you don’t bring your own. Belts (for Young Leaders & Explorers) are arranged indepentently of the Top Awards, so you will need to bring those along if you have already received them.
